Dave Lindsay, P.E. - President
David is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology and lives in Webster, New York with his wife, Linda and their son Connor and daughter Tarra. He worked for Lu Engineers in Penfield, NY for 15 years and is now the Town of Chili's Commissioner of Public Works/Superintendent of Highways. In his free time, David enjoys spending time with his family, flying, Ultimate Frisbee, backpacking and other outdoor activities.
Tim Webber, P.E. - President Elect
Tim is a civil engineer and project manager with 14 years of experience at Clark Patterson Lee. He has design experience in business and industrial parks, railroad design, compost facilities, school and athletic facilities, health care, water distribution and sanitary sewer infrastructure. He lives in Rochester, NY with his wife, Colleen and their sons, Jerrett and Marshall. Tim enjoys playing and coaching Ultimate Frisbee, kayaking and hiking.
Dan E. Curry - Vice President
Mr. Curry is a Senior Process Consultant with extensive industrial experience developing and implementing quality and productivity improvements. He has expertise with application of process controls to minimize product variability and production costs. Mr. Curry's strong personal commitment to fiscal success has resulted in many projects and programs with cumulative savings of over $12 million per year.
Rick Burgwardt, P.E. - Sectretary
Rick is employed by the New York State Department of Transportation in Rochester. He has held engineering positions in the Regional Construction and Bridge Inspection Groups, but has served mainly as a Senior Civil Engineer in the Highway Design Group. Rick holds a B.S. degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Clarkson University. He joined the Monroe Professional Engineers Society in 1991, has previously served as a director and in officer positions, and presently organizes the local TEAMS Competition for MPES. Rick is also a past member and former chairman of the Town of Mendon Planning Board.
Neal Illenberg, P.E. - Treasurer
Chris Ramsey, P.E. - Past-President
Chris is a mechanical engineer with expertise in applied fluid mechanics and heat transfer. He's a co-owner of Castel Associates, Inc., an independent manufacturer's representative and distributor selling and serving process equipment for the chemical, pharmaceutical, and specialty industries in upstate NY.
Melissa Quinn, P.E. - Past President
Melissa is a civil engineer, specializing in transportation engineering, with over 20 years of design and project management in the private consulting industry. She currently works for Home Leasing LLC, in their Construction Management section, assisting in coordination and management of development and construction of affordable residential housing communities. She worked in Rhode Island and Massachusetts before coming to New York, and she currently lives in Penfield, NY.
Robert K. Winans, P.E. - Director
Mr. Winans is a senior project engineer with LaDieu Associates, PC in Rochester, NY. He has over 25 years experience in site and land development with specific design expertise in stormwater management, water systems and sanitary sewer systems. Bob has a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology and has lived in the Rochester area for over 30 years. Bob joined the NYSSPE in 1989 and he has served in various positions with the Monroe Chapter and is currently the immediate Past President. He is also a member of the ASCE and ACEC organizations. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, playing softball, volleyball and golf.
Carl W. Eller, P.E. - Director
Carl is a civil engineer with expertise in environmental and geotechnical engineering, and has conducted and managed a wide variety of engineering projects for both public and private sector clients. He earned his BS and MS from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Carl has been an active member of ASCE and MPES serving on committees, as an officer, and as director; and he is also a PIE course evaluator.
Barry Dumbauld, P.E. - Director
Barry is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology. He is currently a Principal at HUNT Engineers, Architects, & Land Surveyors, P.C. where he is responsible for the Transportation sector in Rochester. In his free time he enjoys golf, skiing, the outdoors and spending time with his family.
Joe Dombrowski, P.E. - Director
Mr. Dombrowski has 22 years of experience in the Engineering Field and his expertise includes engineering for electrical power systems, fire alarm systems, high voltage substations, paging systems, sound systems and lighting in a wide variety of individual, commercial, medical, institutional, municipal and multi-tenant buildings. His project involvement has included studies, estimates, system selection, project management, preparation of specifications and construction monitoring, specializing in health care facilities.
David C. Roberts, P.E. - Director
David Roberts is employed by Garlock Sealing Technologies as an Industrial Engineer. In this position, Mr. Roberts is responsible for the definition of product specifications, materials, and design standards for dynamic sealing products. He has also held the positions of Product Engineer and Applications Engineer at Garlock. Prior to joining Garlock, David worked as a Project Engineer in the food & beverage industry and as a Manufacturing Engineer in the pump & actuator industry. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the College of Applied Science and Technology at Rochester Institute of Technology. His published works include "Extending Equipment Life through Improved Sealing Technology" published at the Power-Gen Conference, 2007, and "Improving Equipment Uptime: Composite Seals Meet the Challenge" published at the AIST Conference, 2009.
